Well, the original problem was that the board needed a reflash to support the CPU. That's fine now. The new issue is that the HDMI port isn't outputting correctly. The colour is reversed, blue becomes yellow etc. It's nothing to do with drivers or software; I'm almost certain it's a hardware problem

Did the cable work eslewhere, you mentioned you would try it on a laptop I believe
If the cable and monitor or ok then yeah 100% hardware fault I'd say.

What the monitor your using btw?

The cable worked perfectly fine with the laptop, audio included. The two displays I tried using were a Samsung 40'' LED TV (Model no. EU40D5520) and an Ilyama Pro Lite E2407HDS 24'' monitor

The HDMI issue is constant, sound is also distorted. The BIOS was updated by Aria with the original RMA and it's at the latest revision. Tbh, I'm managing fine with VGA and my speakers and I plan to enable Dual Graphics Mode once I get my 6450 in a couple of weeks. Is it worth the hassle?

Have you tried a different hdmi lead? Like a different brand or something?

Give it a go and it might work.

    you missunderstood me,

I mean when you RMA the board, they'll send a replacement if that have it in stock, Tell them to flash it or before it's dispatched, Or you'll be back to issue from week ago.

worth the hassle yes, what if your requirments change and you need to use HDMI in a few months for example.

When I RMA it, will I need to return the CPU as well? I'd preferably like a member of staff to answer this one, just to be on the safe side.

Return both as it could be the APU itself. Best for us to be able to test both to rule out 100% the faulty component.
