For some people it is clearly important.
To me, it means nothing. I have more than enough credit and debit cards to keep me going.
But I guess it is great if you have ways of getting money into your account by selling stuff and spending the money that accumulates.
Of course, no one, here would conceive of using it to launder money.

Just for your information - PayPal isnt a magic bullet with respect to fraud.
Some PayPal account holders have emailed in thinking they are immune to checks.
As part of our on-going commitment to our customers, Aria PC Technology, like other reputable online retailers, has in place a detailed fraud-prevention process which helps us to deter fraud and thereby protect you. If PayPal flag your order for checking, please do not be offended when we ask for ID.
Thanks

I do seriously wonder if I'm the only person who avidly avoids paying by paypal unless I have to/it's serious hassle to pay another way?
I know all my card info off by heart, most websites let you store billing information barring a select few details anyway?
I guess you could say I just don't trust PayPal very much due to experiences with ebay - I've got exactly the opposite impression of them than the 'secure' image they purport.
No. Me too. But the answer may be in an unanswered question that I posed earlier.
The PayPal fans may be folks who sell stuff on line and have money going into their PayPal accounts from other directions.
If that is the case, then it would make sense to shovel money out of PayPal into Aria without involving an intermediary.

Yup as above.
I use PayPal to buy stuff online for three reasons.
Firstly I don't need my debit card present to purchase items
Secondly, when I sell things on forums (here/paintball forums etc) I have a PayPal balance which I can use to immediately pay as opposed to waiting for it to be transferred to my bank.
Lastly, its more secure over public or mobile internet connections as i don't have to openly transmit my card details.
Oh and fourth, its often quicker even if I have my card to hand![]()

^^^ cant argue with that.
Same here as its just a few clicks and its paid for rather then having to input all your card details etc.
I wasn't bothered about Paypal in the slightest but I've just started selling a load of stuff - mainly xbox games - on ebay and am now looking forward to spending that money on here.
