    Default Too many dpi settings?

I just ordered a Gigabyte M6980 in the recent epic Aria superspecial session, and although I really like the shape etc of the mouse (and can forgive the pimpin LEDs), I'm not sure I see the point in having 3 dpi settings - 2 would be great for FPSs, with one for general use and a lower setting for sniping, but having to toggle between 3 makes it pretty annoying to switch back an forth. Does anyone actually use 3 dpi settings? Kinda wish I'd done a bit more research and bought one with just two, but hey, only had it for a few days yet so may grow on me!

You might be able to adjust it. I know razer ones you can customise just about everything but I am also sure you can find a random customisation tool someone has made online.

My Rokkat kova+ has 4 I think, but got it configured to switch between the two just by holding one of the side buttons and pressing the scroll wheel

No experience of other gaming mice though.

I'm pretty sure u can modify/disable via the software? I know for setpoint (logitech) u can have as many as 5 dpi settings and as little as 1, as well as being able to customise each dpi level for the g5. I'd be very surprised if the gigabyte software didn't allow u to do the same.

Saying that, it's not like there's 5 dpi buttons, it's an increase and a decrease button. I only ever use the top two so it's a single switch down or a single switch up.
