    Default IE7 History problem

Is anyone else having problems viewing browser history, i.e. anything other than the current day's?

Tools>Internet Options>Browsing History Settings> (Set more days to keep in history)

Or make sure that you have \"When internet explorer is closed remove all hisotry and temp folders\"

Yeah, even tried installing on on of my other machines and still same problem, think it might be a problem with it, it's not a full release yet I suppose.

I have to use Firefox to use Outlook 2003 via the web because it never works properly with IE7

    Bish Bosh!

IE7 is excellent in my opinion. Firefox for me was to slow.

People always say IE7 has to many security issues, but with common sense you can stop any threat.

    Just my 2p

FF is brilliant in my view, although the first page takes along time to load.. (but hey better slow and safe than fast and virus'd eh?)

Once you got one page open subsequent pages are lightning compared to IE,

FF problem may have been down to you importing settings from IE, do it again but dont import anything and also make sure cookies are enabled. and ONLY download it from firefox's site, as theres been some that have been tampered with around before...

FF seems a better interface to me, also i dont like the fact that any information i send over my network (such as logging into my server through windows explorer) is logged and recorded in IE, with the location saved etc. fortunately its passworded but ya ccan never be too safe

\"People always say IE7 has to many security issues, but with common sense you can stop any threat.\"

yes, however this takes time, the more time you spend, the less time you have to yourself rendering turning the machine on a waste of your time in the first place - i dont know anyone who turns their PC on hourly just to check for AntiVirus updates for instance.. thats the common sense i see behind using IE..

Yep, a fair point, but you do get tabbed browsing on Firefox which is quite nifty. A major plus point for me. And when you're bored out of your brains you can change skin, and spend a whole day working out where all the buttons have got to

You actually tried iE7 yet m8? Complete with it's tabbed browsing...

I'm sure it'll be brill when all the debug code bloat is removed and it gets the official launch and send off - M$ need their ar*es kicked for allowing the Mozilla Dev's to even get a lead in the first place!

The beta feels nice, it's just way full of bloated debug code right now and is a memory hog because of it...
