    Default Recommend Mouse Mat

    Hi,

Can anyone recommend me a decent mouse mat, nothing over 5 as afterall, it's only a mouse mat. I want it to be all black, and it must grip well to a wooden surface, as my computer desk is wooden. I would buy from Aria but there's only one listed under 5, so if possible, could you link me to some decent one's from eBay.

    Cheers.

I doubt there would be that much difference between mats in your budget range tbh.

True, but I've purchased plenty of mats from local supermarkets/stores in the past and alot of them don't even stick to my wood desktop surface.

Anyway, here's a list on eBay:

Here's the only mat Aria sell below 5:

    Thoughts/Suggestions ?

Ive had a fabric one for years, it also has a rubberish underside rather than foam as those tend to move all over the place on smooth surfaces. Its looking a bit grubby now, but its the perfect cheap mouse mat, and when i do need a new one i would certainly choose the same type again.

Its also worth spending slightly more than a fiver too. As long as you dont pick at the corners or chew on it, you'll be using it for years.

All the budget ones will be the same, get one of those (doesn't matter which).

Or spend a bit extra and get a good one, I can recommend the Razer Sphex which is about ten squids.

So i should avoid a foam underneath, as my wooden desktop surface is smooth.

for such a small budget id probably recommend the steelseries qck mini that can be had for around 5, although it has a white logo on the corner you could colour it in black

This one has a non-slip backing, and should do the job:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-MOUS...#ht_2131wt_834

The seller has sold 45 of these and still has 100% positive feedback, so no worries regarding reliability of seller/quality of the product.

I got a steelseries QCK mini one, which is pretty average size, bought for 5 delivered on play, aria sells the bigger version too for a decent price. Zero slippage

Once again, has a white logo on it, I want something totally plain and black, to fit with my entire black set-up.

    What about this:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-MOUS...#ht_2131wt_834

Should do the job and I'll buy 2 to keep one as a back-up.

It should be fine for the price, although it may be better to just buy one incase youre not happy with it, you can always get a second at a later stage
