    This sort of rate I am wondering whether to risk it over ECC in my Microserver. 2GB-8GB would be a nice boost.

    Anyone know if this would work in a 2009 Mac Pro? Meant to be 1033 Mhz but would it downgrade?

    Yeah you can put faster memory in a slot that only supports 1033MHz, actually there are JEDEC timings for 1033 on this chip so it should be absolutely fine.

    I am still using Win XP 32 bit, so this amount of memory would be wasted. Now, if you had a bargain price for Win 7 64 bit, or an extra special bundle price for both I would go for that
