guys, do you all mind getting on CPC server tonight?

they are thinking about changing server provider, however, due to last night's lag on Aria server, i honestly really not sure whether change provider will solve anything.

so before they go through all the trouble, could everyone jump on tonight and do a load testing on CPC server?

i've asked Betty to make sure his ProCon is running at high priority to ensure it isn't his i3 CPU causing this problem when he uses his computer, we all know BFBC2 is pretty CPU heavy, and i3 being a dual-core may cause ProCon CPU cycles to be delayed.

(if it is, perhaps we'll need to find a different ProCon hoster, sorry betty)

I'll go on it mate, i haven't been on the cpc or aria server for a few days now, when the Aria server went up it was fine for me, got no lag or freezing.

I diddn't have any lag on the Aria server last night, lag now and then is to be expected, however I have lag ALL the time on the CPC server. I'll try to get on tonight though.

May need a line to point out to people that the silly EA server serach in BFBC2 is case specific though? (EG you need to make sure when searching for Aria that the capital 'A' is used).

Doh... You see, I already know this... I've told enough people when telling them to search for my server... But do I think of taking my own advice when trying to find the Aria server? I'm a right muppet some times

I was doing fairly well last night, that tommy gun is actually really good (I've gotten used to trying to use awful guns like the m1 and m14 so to suddenly have something good was getting me a lot of kills).

I get annoyed with medics more than anything else and theres nothing worse than playing a whole team of them but most of the time I suck it up and play on.

Wyx, if you need a new protocon host - my main PC is on 24/7 folding and my bench rig does the same when its not benching so I could offer to one of those to the cause as i cant see it impacting my folding too much
