Post your Macro shots here - bugs, shiny things, hardware, unusual items, depth of field shots - along with a location and desciption of the pic. 8)
I dont think I have many on this computer, but i'll post a couple of the ones I do have
One of the many grasshoppers that ended up in the house:
Scorpion that found its way into the girls bedroom and I ended up removing with a glass, a bit of paper, and my hands.. Slightly scary experience..Its not a great quality photo, but I think its still quite interesting..
I'll try and find some more![]()
Saturation tweaked a touch but otherwise my own work which I was really pleased with.
A horrible critter in my office last year.
I liked this one (one of a couple I took, unadulterated totally)
A tow home.
Apologies on this last one, a panoramic picture of Scrabo tower reaching round to strangford lough. Not the best quality but looks amazing on my screens in work.

I also have on of belfast city stretching to the above pic and beyond to newcastle 40 miles south, 27000pixels wide :O
Aaron, where do you live to be getting scorpions? I heard the big black ones aren't deadly (you'll just be in some pretty average agony for a couple of days), it's the little ones you want to watch for!
Those were in Croatia earlier this year.. and yeah, I've heard that too, but only after I'd got it out of the house, using the glass and persuasive fingers - that one was about 1.5 inches, so it was one of the really small ones :O
Although, I am in Devon, and there are some weird scorpion like things that appear every so often tho.. Kinda like a long ****roach with pincers and a tail that raises up and stings. I've not ever been stung by one, but its got the cat before and some friends - apparently its just like a wasp sting..
Yeah I think those scorpions have been imported on fruit! Apparently its warm enough for them to breed in the south.
My experience with scorpions is on holiday in Egypt, we used to go looking for them under rocks. We stopped that little game when we discovered Egyptian Cobra!
Bet you did..!!
