    Default Aria Dominator 560ti Problems.

    Hey there ,
Recently purchased an aria dominator 560ti and its been nothing but trouble since day one , Have updated all the drivers and still i seem to be getting 00000124 Uncorrectable Hardware Error Blue Screens. The mothorboard has also been giving 5 short beeps on bootup which after further research appears to mean there is a processor problem , Should i rma it or is there an easier solution to this?
P.S My friend has the exact same system in for testing with you guys with the exact same problem...dont you think if its a common problem you should atleast inform your customers who spend £1000's of there hard earned cash on pre-built machines.

    Hey,

Sorry to read about the troubles you're having with your new Dominator. The 0x124 BSOD you're describing sounds like it could be an unstable overclock. Are you able to install Windows on it/boot into Windows? If so, are you able to post a CPU-Z screenshot so we can see the voltage the CPU is using when idling/under load?

Obviously if it is an unstable overclock and you put it under load it will almost certainly BSOD, but anything to get it to its advertised overclocked frequency and long enough to get a screenshot would be a great starting point to working out what's wrong - it sounds to me like it might need a touch more voltage and a CPU-Z screenshot could confirm this.

    Hey there Nick ,
Thanks for the quick reply , I seem to be getting a different BSOD now involving Stop Error 00000101 , not sure why the bsod has changed tbh... However here is the screenshot as requested , it may be worth noting that the system runs prime95 for 1 hour+ with no problems atall. Usually when it goes to bsod its when im playing online games. There seems to be a problem with me uploading a screenshot so heres an image shack link.

Had a quick squint in the bios , didnt change anything cause i dont want to void the warranty but it seems to be set to 1.375v , Does this seem like a reasonable number?

Thanks for the screenshot Jason. 1.375V is probably fractionally below what I'd personally be using, but according to the left screenshot CPU-Z thinks it's pulling 1.4V under load, which sounds more appropriate.

A quick Google suggests that 0x101 is something to do with clock interrupts not being received, which again implies it could be something to do with the stability of the overclock. I don't actually work for Aria, but I would suggest giving customer services a call and explaining you have intermittent BSODs. Obviously as you say you want to preserve your warranty, but it might be worth asking if you are allowed to bump the voltage up in the BIOS to say 1.385/1.39V without voiding it and test that - I can't imagine they'd have a problem with that. If you don't feel comfortable doing that it might be worth asking CS if they can raise an RMA, or alternatively they might have some different suggestions if they've seen the issue before.

The number is 0844 999 8 999 and they're open from Monday, but bear in mind they usually are pertty busy on Monday with all the weekend enquiries sorry I can't be of more help but if you have any other questions, do reply and we'll see what else we can do for you.
