If your Operating System is XP at the moment I would stick with it, Vista isn't that great.

Vista is not that bad, with good hardware...

i wouldn't suggest your will get good performance with only 1 Gb of ram, but it is usable.

I have Vista Ultimate running on a PC3 in my signature and it runs fine, the Vista Score is 2.2 which is down to the x300 but it runs Aero ok. (the x300 cost me £8 all in on Fleabay)
I am not losing weight! I'm getting rid of it. I have no intention of finding it again!

Thanks For That, Im Not Sure If Im After Using The Aeros Feature At The Minute. Is There Any Chance That If I Get A Budget Graphics Card It Will Be Stable? Im Not Looking To Play Games On The Computer.

Could Anyone Tell Me If This Would Be Worth Buying?

What I'm worried about it SiS chipset support with Vista. I'm not sure the 760 has Vista support. I'll give it a quick google though.

Other than that, my vote would go towards something like a Radeon HD 2400 or 3450 if available on AGP. Otherwise something like a 7300GT AGP or X1600/X1650 AGP

If your not going to use Aero then why do you want Vista?

If you are buying 2nd hand look for something like a 6800GT these can be picked up for about £30, will run most games (but not at the highest settings) and will run AERO without issue. (will give a Vista score of around 5, 5.9 is the highest score any card can get at this time)

Dont Suppose You Know Of Any Other Under £30 Budget Cards That Will Run Aeros Smoothly, Its Basically Just For Aeros & Not For Gaming. Im Kinda Looking To Spend Total Of £30 (Inc Del If Poss) New Or Ideally Used.

How About Any Of The Lower Spec Nvidia Cards?

    Sorry For Been A Pain.

    Also Thanks For Looking Wonderlust.

i would go with an 8400/2400 as it can take the strain off your cpu if you watch hd movies but anything older wont.

Looks ok, are you planning on running this as an HTPC?
