Laptop: P8600 @ 2.40GHz, 2GB 1067MHz DDR3, Geforce 9400M and 9600M GT (256MB) 15.4" Screen.
seems expensive, I get 15Mb (upto 16 for £10) on SKY

Both operate their own LLU equipment the difference?
O2/Be* is about as close to "unlimited" and "uncapped" as i think you will find, alot of people at my college use it and are very happy with the service, good customer service and no indian callcentre that you get with SLY.
Also they do text alerts etc. with their ticket system, so aswell as an email they will text you if you wish with any updates. Downtime has been very good recently (inform customers first, 5min outage, restore to good service)
If i wasnt tied into a contract until the end of this year - id be moving to them myself.
you will find the "higher tier" packages are cheaper with Be* www.bethere.co.uk - for non o2 contract customers
That and i truely, truely hate sky and the problems they have, have caused, or their slow support.
just for reference im with neither, im tied into a 12month contract with plusnet (www.plus.net) - i get 1.8mb, or i will when the fault on my line is sorted.
