Would prefere to order from Aria, but they seem to be out of 160GB Sata drives.

    Sort It Out 8)

I would put some lower end Intel Core 2 Duos in there instead of the sempron 2800s. The E6300 is fairly cheap and a much better processor, hence increasing their productivity o_O.
    Intel Core 2 Duo E6700, Abit AB9 Pro, 2 x 512Mb PC6400 RAM, nVidia GF7600GT, GigaByte 3D Aurora Chassis.

They dont necessarily need to be Semprons. I just used them as a guide to what kind of specs are needed.

I managed to budget up a AMD 64 3000+, 1GB RAM, DVD/RW, ect... for a good price. (Not from Aria)

For around £160 less i can get a Sempron 3100+, 512mb RAM, DVD/RW ect... from Aria.

The system from Aria have better 17in TFT's, but poor quality keyboard & Mice.

So im still pondering. The server is being bought from Aria 8)

Why dont you get the gear seperately and put it together yourself? You might save a few bob, and you can have more freedom of what goes in and screen, keyboard, mouse etc.

    That is the plan.

But this is for a client, so when it comes to pricing up everything, dont forgot to add on our time to build them.

Which we charge £80 an hour... i think... 8)

I dont know what the computers are being used for but this would make a great all-round system.

    All from Aria of course.

    Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 @ £152.69
    MSI P965 Neo-F Socket 775 @ £79.86
    OCZ 512mb DDR2 PC2-4200 @ £30.49
Paragon Midi Tower Case @ £28.20 (inc. 400W PSU)
    NEC ND-3550A 16x DVDRW DL Black @ £22.50
Microsoft Windows XP Pro OEM SP2 @ £91.42
    120mm Hiper Clear Case Fan @ £3.82
    Zalman 92mm Case Fan @ £4.02
    17\" Hyundai Imagequest B71A @ £130.95
    Soyntec Inpput R150 Scroll Mouse @ £4.02
    Generic Multimedia Keyboard-Blk Sil @ £3.82

    Total = £551.49 inc. VAT

(There is a cheaper compatible motherboard, but I simply cannot justify buying an ASRock motherboard.)

If youre any good, it wont take more than 3 hours to build and install windows + install any applications needed etc. I know because I just built a system last night and it only took that long. =P

Takes around 45 Minutes to build a pc.

Takes around 1 hour 15minutes to have Windows fully setup.

£160 (For time) + £551 for Parts. Around £700. (Pc's need to be XP Pro)

    £700 x 4 = £2800. (Also most pc's need a Hard Drive to run & Floppy is required)

So thats Another £200 or so... so looking around £3000.

Thats alot quicker than the previous system. Double the RAM, better processor.

But then add the time, to put everything together.
    ______

Then decide are these Semprons going to run Windows XP ok? Yes.
Can we increase the memory to 1GB with the money saved? Yes.

Im not neccesarily right, just trying to find the best way and cheapest to build a office machine.
