Default Todge's Sandy Build (1024px images)

Just a quick few while I'm going through. Will be loads more later.

I've just secured the heatsink after fitting the two retaining bars the wrong way round. Just about to rip the old rig apart

Bit of a panic for a second as I thought my PSU didn't have an 8pin power connector for the board. After taking it all out I found it lol. Had better get the hoover on this case!

Oh God, how many times I`ve nearly place the order.....then slowly I`ve learn to restrain myself. At the pace this tech advances, I`ll be skint before I know it.
Ehh, I`m still doing with my LGA 775 .

A Nikon D80. All the pics i have taken are either with a Nikon 50mm f1.8 or a Sigma 70mm f2.8 Macro. Bouncing a SB-600 off the white ceiling to give a nice even light.

Literally took those straight from the cam and uploaded.

Lol yeah there have been people having a few issues getting started with this kind of setup so i thought i'd make fault finding simple.

Glad i did too! On first press of the power a few LEDs on the board flashed and then the GPU one stayed on and i got a "- . ." beep code. This turned out to be because the front of the GPU wasn't seated all the way in.

On the next go I am getting just a high pitched beep. The only LED on is the Boot Device one which makes sense because i have no drives connected. Going to connect one and see what occurs.

Ok have gotten past the beeps, am now into the bois at last hurrah! no, lets see what damage i can do.

BIOS updated to the latest non beta, easy peasy.

I have to say i LOVE UFI bios. So much nicer than faffing around with a keyboard.
