    Wink Hp Nx9030

    wonder if u could help ive had an hard disk failure on the Hp nx9030 laptop
    i need to replace it but cant figure out if Its IDE or Sata

    And any ideas on the maX hard drive i could get for this model it did have a 40 gig h/drive installed

    From Hp's web site you can download the support manual, which doesn't actually state that it is EIDE but the diagrams for replacing the HDD suggest it is.

    Ok, update table 6-5 in the same PDF states they are ATA-5 (EIDE).

    But it doesn't mention anything about size restrictions, I suggest you drop HP and Email for advise.
