I got my free TP-Link 300Mbps Wireless N USB Adapter [TL-WN821N] for leaving a review, all I can say is wow, the last time I used a USB wireless adapter it was on wireless G and it was not that good at all, kept dropping out the range was poor.

I have a Belkin play max dual band modem/router as my main router, I connected the TP-Link TL-WN821N to my kids PC to replace an old wireless-G gaming adapter that I had got working on the PC. My kids PC is in a Bed room & my main PC and Belkin router are in my front room.

I was shocked to see that after I installed this item on my kids PC it was getting 300mps, I was even more shocked that when I did a speed test that the kids PC got the same results as my PC hard wired to the main router at 1 Gbps.

I don't know if this is because USB wireless adapters have got better or my main modem/router wireless link is so good that it has problem working with a USB stick link?

But just saying I am very happy with the free gift.
