    Default 85Mbps Powerline Ethernet x2 ?

    85Mbps Powerline Ethernet x2

Do these plugs come with 56-Bit DES Encryption for network privacy and security like other branded homeplugs ?

And do they come with Ethernet cables ?

    Thanks

Get the netgear - I got a D-Link and have regretted it ever since...

ive got generic 14mbps to pipe the net from a modem router to my main switch. works like a dream and saves an age in cabling. If its anything other than piping internet round the 85mbps will be a god send.

Is the internet made of water?

If a joke needs explaining, it's not funny.

shouldnt need drivers as they work as if it's connected via cable anyway.

eg rj45 to modem/router. just saves a long cable between floors and rooms.

The 85mbps is in ideal circumstances. It's affected by things such as anything on the mains rings which sucks a whole load of power (heaters, hairdryers, microwaves, ovens). Also things like multi-socket adapters will lower the line speed. I have two and each are plugged into a multi-socket adapter and I get around 60-75 so still pretty good. Overall I think they're great but if had get time I'd still nail some CAT5 to the wall.
