    Angry Annoying Ebay Buyer

Hi guys , got a bit of a dispute going on through that battlefield bad company 2 game i sold on the bay on the 26th July it sold and i received the payment through paypal as normal and posted it the next day. after about 3 days i didnt get any feedback so i kindly asked for some feedback as i sent the buyer some good feedback? i got a message the next day and they left me feedback through a message on ebay ? so i asked them again to give me feedback through ebays feedback system. couple of days later still no answer or feedback, asked again, checked next day still nothing. so i asked again tonight and i will be waiting on an answer hopefully by monday if not im going to do something about it because its been over 2 weeks, and because i havent had any feedback the payment is being held in paypal so i cant access it its getting really annoying now and i was just wanting some advice or something from you guys on how i should deal with this annoyance cheers!

if the buyer don't want to leave you feedback mate there's nothing much you can do about it, they dont have to leave you it, but if you keep nagging them for feedback they will surely leave a negative

the funds will be released in 21days if he doesn't open a dispute or leave feedback

it sucks I know but this will teach you never to leave feedback when selling until they give you a feedback first

make sure you keep the proof of sending and the email they sent you mate.

last time i got no feedback for a item they filed a dispute over a month after the sale saying it didn't arrive and on that paypal held funds on me and were ready to take the rest out of my bank or CC on file

Paypal and ebay have gone terrible. Sellers get stung all the time like this, hope the guy leaves you feedback soon m8 but i wouldnt nag him incase he leaves a negative.

feedback doesn't put you paypal funds in a lock?

it's also an optional thing, feedback isn't something that has to be completed. I've lost count at the numbers of times I've not been given feedback, sometimes people have been nice (ish) and said that they didn't write negative or neutral so didn't write at all (someone did a buy-it-now at silly price when I had been called away with work).

It's really not important and far far too easy to bump you feedback score spending four or five quid on 99p items. My advice, ease off with the aggression, it'll result in annoying the buyer and you'll get bad or neutral for the messages and not the quality of your service.

@ DT if you are a new seller or not sold anything on the bay for a while having your funds held for 21 days on the basis of feedback is VERY annoying. its merely a ploy by paypal to make interested on the money.

if someone recieves the item in said condition in said time good feedback should be given

if someone recieves the item in otherwise worse condition and in time longer than stated they should leave netative feedback

if someone doesnt go by this system then dont use ebay imo.

personally i think it should be compulsary. you can always revise feedback should things change anyway and paypal insure buyers so w/e

its a new thing that applies to new sellers and those who havent sold anything for a few months, it likely doesnt affect those who are regular sellers or who have been members for a while. i think it was introduced about a year ago.
