    Im just signing up to SKY broadband.

    What do i need to connect the wireless router to my pc? How can i tell if my pc is wireless enabled? Think my pc is 5 years old.

    You will know if your pc is wireless due to a network symbol with waves coming off it. Your most likely going to not have wireless, but unless there are more than one pc's in your house, isnt the wireless hub going to be in your room? if so then ethernet cable is sufficient, but otherwise buy a wireless card/usb stick for it.

    Think i have ethernet controller, checked device manager

    The pc is in my room and the telephone in the living room. We only use one pc.

    You can check on differet ways that your system has a wireless card or not, the easist way is \"go to the Device Manager, under the Network Adapter if there is a wireless adapter then it means your PC has a wireless card otherwise not, but almost all PCs don't come with a built-in wireless card that's why I think you will not have a wireless card.
    and if there is no wireless card in the system then I'll suggest you to buy a wireless card, there are two wireless adapters for PCs one is PCI WiFi card and one is USB WiFi adapter.
    Now it depends on your interest that which one you want.
