    Default Best GFX Card?

    Preferably want a 512MB DDR3 jobby

    Any suggestions?

    Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 @ 2.2ghz
    2GB Elixir PC6400 DDR2 Dual Channel
    Asus Gforce 512mb Silent GFX
    250GB Seagate SATA HD

    looks good, anyone got one?

    i wanna get ready to play unreal tournament 3 when its out in September. will probably have to upgrade every component of my pc though haha not just the gfx card 8)

    i dont have one, but it WILL work good. Directx10. DDR3. and yeh other stuff in your pc will need upgrading.

    Don't waste your money on an 8600gt, if you MUST have dx10 (and theres not much point at the mo tbh) then an 8800gts 320mb is ok upto a point but ideally you want a 8800gts 640mb.

    If you don't NEED dx10 then a 1950 is a better option.

    I just boughtan 8600gt and it's very bare, looks nothing like the picture, its almost a blank pcb with the odd capacitor, very minimalist... dunno how good it is tho coz my mobo died and i havnt got a new 1 yet
