    There were loads of sun boxes in universities and such. They really were the mutt's nutts back when I was a CompSci student. Very expensive though, which is of course why they lost out to the x86.

    Used to have a little Sparcstation IPX, very cute.

    They cost more that their worth. You see one on the bay every now and again but you have to get a converter for monitors as they used a proprietary monitor connector.

    Propietary hardware makes me rage! Then again I do find myself praising ADC (Apple Display Connector). Though it's probably for the fact that it powers the display through the cable plugged into the mac thus reducing the number of power plugs needed.
