    Default Works Orders

So im after some software that will create works orders for me.

I need to be able to create job numbers that will also hold the following info:
Customer who had this job with dates and quantity's etc (Not bothered about prices)
Pictures attached of the job so i can look back through it for future reference
    Drawing numbers & notes etc

Its a pretty simple design what im after. Ive fired up visual studio and just looked at a blank canvas. Ive built a couple of programs using it so have a very basic knowledge (Thanks to DT!) but i just want somthing thats there already, (Hoping open source)

    Any ideas?

    Mat

I've been asking recently for a similiar little project. Do you have a preference for web based or desktop based ?

Hi Mat, I'm not sure if this helps but to me it sounds as a free database would do the job. You could give a try to DB2 Express-C and see if it suits you. Good luck in your search.

    Not bothered really
I suppose the advantage of a web based one is to use it anywhere but i could just remote desktop if it was client based

    Cheers!

I've found a tiny program that writes and reads to an access database but it's only just a template. I still would need to make everything.
Even just a database login looks complicated!

Just having a play with VB.Net

How the hell do you create new pages!?
Like on a website you would change page from one to another but within the web browser.
I guess every page needs to be a form but how do you get them to open IN form1? Is there some kind of containor i can put it and everything opens within that?
I dont want loads of windows open thats all!
