    Anyone know a good free* video making/editing programme?


    *by free I don't mean torrented

    I beleave stuff like Sony Vegas give you about 30 day free trial , other than that Im not sure of any freeware proggys other than Windows Movie Maker !!???

    The clue is in the name.
    As you say, it is not easy to use, but given a little effort, it is quite powerful.

    I have used it to edit videos in the past.
    The thing I use it most for is to convert Portrait movies from my camera to landscape without having them distorted. I also play with the gamma, colour and brightness settings and convert to DIVX from AVI
    I can see the Devil lacing up his ice skates!
