    Default Monitoring software

    Hi,
My setup is, three computers one downstairs and two upstairs all connected to a wireless router, which is upstairs (in my room) all by Ethernet connection.
Now that my little brother has just got a PC in his room my parents want to check on what he is doing,
My theory is if I am in my room and he's in his i can open a piece of software that will let me see what he is doing,

    Any ideas?

VNC would introduce a massive amount of network traffic though.

3 computers on the network though, not going to cause any real problems, assuming it's a 100Mbit network. Even 10Mbit should be fine though.
There are lots of other options,
    PCAnywhere host,
    Webcam hidden in the room!..

yea it is a 100Mbps network, i have just tried it with my laptop and my PC and it works great, it's not that slow either.
I just got to figure how to use it properly, thanks very much for your help,

It's also the same software that my college use, But i think they use the enterprise Edition

    Thanks again
    regards

ive used vnc over a dialup connection before.. so a network should handle it ok!

Make sure that if you want to stay undiscovered, you need to make sure you leave the local keyboard/mouse as active, otherwise you will disable them and he wont be able to do anything anyway!
