    Default Guitar Rig 2 anyone?

Hi Peeps, just wondering if anyone uses any guitar software

Ive just had a go with Giutar Rig 2, which I cant seem to get any sort of output other than some heavy feedback n sqeals n stuff.

Its the software stand alone version, without the Rig Kontrol Pedals
running it through an Audigy 2 card, through line in.

Just wondered if anyone else has any experience of the proggy?

    Default Right....e-o

Right..seems like Im not the only one...they have relesed a patch thats supposed to sort it out....

anyway the nipper is buzzing....with it....just learnt him, a bit of grungy greenday...strange noises can be heard from upstairs...so I guess...its a good piece of kit....however...It does take a lot of CPU.chunk to run and you need a serious asio...configed sound card to release its full potential...Im gonna chuck it through my Yammy...midi keyboard...just to see what happens...should be a lot more stable...but...whats an 11 year old thrash master want with his dads old junk...

any guitar playing dudes...just download the demo....plug ya amp in...then feed to ya line in..see what happens....bout 70 grands worth of luxury..amp...simulation...plus effects..its brill...!

check native instuments out....for samples....of what it can do...youlll find dweezil Zappa messing with it...!

    cheers Mighty...

    Default

So what does it do? Is it a midi instrument, or is it a guitar effects processing thing?

It looks very cool either way!

    Default Meltdown

    Basically,

take one 11 year old camo wearing guitar apprentice,
mix thoroughly with classic rock riffs, Hendrix, Led Zep, ACDC etc
add one small sized left handed metal strat, an amp and a Pc
add the Guitar Rig 2 software, issue mother with ear plugs
    AND RUN!

Its one hell of a guitar effects processor, simulator, realtime recorder and playback studio.

Here's the interfaces (Sorry for Long post )

it can be used standalone by just pluging in to the pc's line in from an amplified source, or with a usb foot pedal rack.

I wouldnt chuck it through, tft speakers like I did the first time...unless ya wanna see smoke...!

Nice piece of kit though..
