    Default Best Bridge Camera

Been looking at getting a bridge camera in the near future.

I kinda have an idea of the Nikon P100 as it has 26x optical zoom and HD video recording.

Anybody got one with any views or views of better cameras?

    thanks

I've got a Panasonic Lumix FZ18. Only 18x Optical, but it takes great photos. I got it a few years ago, about 3-4weeks after it came out over here. I chose it because it was one of the only bridge camera I could find at the time where you could actually adjust the lens. As in, it has a fixed lens, as all bridge cameras do, but you can add extension lenses onto it, such as fisheye/macro/extended zoom. I think you can increase the zoom to 52x optical as far as I remember.

I'd definitely buy one again if I was looking in the Bridge Camera area!

Fuji finepix S series allowed you to do that too, the old man has a x2 converter for his.

Stick to a big name and you wont go far wrong.
