    WOW breathtaking pics there!

what x zoom and camera were used?

Compared to some of my friends pics from safaries it seems you seen 200% more animals and variety! Where abouts did you go? approx cost?

The 3rd elephant pic almost looks 3d

1st picture and the one of the mountain/volcano are breath taking

They'd also make cracking desktop backgrounds if you could upscale them

Its unbelievable how similar some of those photos are to the ones I took in Africa when I was there last year! Great pics tho - This may sound daft, but I found the light in Africa just made almost every photo come out well, if you know what I mean? There was just so much light all the time that the camera just worked really well, unlike over here where its normally a lot duller!

I'll have to post a few of mine sometime too!

    Thanks for the comments

My camera isn't anything particularly special, its an EOS 1000D and the lense i used for most of those was a 55-250IS so again nothing really special, the kit 18-55IS lense was used for most of the landscape shots.

The Safari was called "Shadows of Kilimanjaro" and was in Tsavo East and West and Amboseli national parks and took 4 days in total, though most of those pics were taken in Tsavo East and Amboseli as Tsavo West is VERY dense with vegitation which makes seeing anything quite difficult (read that as nigh on impossible)

As for cost, i don't know exactly lol maybe £1600 for the hotel and safari, give or take.

I know what you mean Aaron bright sunlight does make for some amazing pictures, even if i do say so myself.

If anyone would like the full size jpg let me know and i'll upload the fullsize version.

Bet it was worth every penny.. I saw some amazing stuff too, but I didn't do a Safari as such.. I just went camping in the bush and we took a couple of 4x4s with us Came face to face with elephants, zebra etc... and a very close encounter with a few lions at night, which was quite scary - but SO cool at the same time..

I don't know about you, but looking back on it, even though i didnt pay as much, I definitely would pay a similar amount to you to do it again if I had to!

Got any plans to go out there again Mac?

Well the hotel was 4* and all inclusive so that didn't cost a penny for food and drinks once there, as we paid for them up front no doubt. Plus most of the activities were free, if it needed petrol you paid otherwise it was free. An i cannot fault the lodges we stayed in either, i could happily spend a week in some of those they were like mini hotels. This was the lodge we stayed in in Amboseli http://www.sopalodges.com/amboseli/home.html

Would i go back, probably, but to a different part of africa, maybe Tanzania for example.

Thats really good then if the activities were included, cos they could easily be £100+ a go at some places I saw!

I love some of those shots. A little work (and I mean a little) in photoshop adjusting the colours etc and you have some exceptionaly shots on yor hands. Nice one!

I like the shots of the Agama lizard, the eagles in the tree and also the shot of Mt Kilimanjaro as that is stunning.

I couldn't help myself and had a little play around with some of the images in PS earlier today but thought it would be rude to upload them. I will if the OP wishes me to
