    Default [RESOLVED] Great service, but......no postage refund (yet)

    Faulty disk drive- requested RMA, within 2 days got RMA233988. Send off HDD within 2 days got receipt message, a day later tested faulty, a day later new HDD arrived!

    Thanks for fast service!

    However a week ago I send an email to sales@aria.co.uk, enclosing the postage receipt for a refund. A few days later I send a reminder by your webform. Still no reply.

    Can you let me know what I have to do to get a postage refund, or find out where my request is if I've given all the info you need.

    The refund was processed to your Aria account on the 6th and is just waiting for our accounts team to process the refund to your bank account.
    I will contact the accounts manager in the morning and get them to process this tomorrow.

    No sign yet of a refund to a credit card - one thing that may affect it, is I've had to have a new card to replace the one I bought the HDD with due to fraudulent activity.

    I don't know if credits will still find their way onto my new card #.

    normally a new card doesn't affect the underlying account number, it just cancels that card. It's worth checking that out.

    If the accounts team/manager wasnt contacted about it till this morning, I wouldnt expect anything yet. Even if it had been processed this morning, its normally a few days before it shows in your account.

    I was going post on the original thread but that was closed. This item is indeed closed.

    ARIA refunded the postage (thank you) according to my credit card statement on the 18th Feb, but it did not actually appear on my online statement until the 24th Feb.

    Lost of other purchases where going in.

    Not sure why there was such a delay, not sure if that was an issue with Aria, but of course the delay lead me to chase you.

    If these credit card delays are generic, then perhaps this is why you are being chased by customers as much.

    Anyway posted this in case in can help you sort out any issues.

    The forum service in resolving these issue seems very good.
