    Default Interesting website designs?

    Hey guys,

What are some of the most interestingly designed websites you've come across?

Some of the ones I've come across are:
    http://melissahie.com/
    http://www.basilgloo.com/

    /Rant

Could have known they would have been a graphic design & marketing type of website.
They can only afford those types of websites by marking up other peoples products at 100% and selling them on

    Sorry, Bad day at work.

    Carry on

I've worked in the web design industry and there is a massive difference in what looks cool/technically great and what is actually effective. Both the website's you linked to are fantastic designs and put together really well, far beyond what I could do.

But I've worked on quite a few flash based sites that were technically fantastic without ever doing the job they were designed to do

Yeah, it's like those fantastic Ads (there are some, honest) that you remember but can't remember the product - these are kudos for all involved in the ad but the manufacturer who paid for the thing is getting a raw deal.
