Looks good to me. I'd like to point out beforehand though that I hate you! And that I've wanted that case for ages

Im thinking about dropping the Quad core for the E6700 as it seems to get very similar results in benchmarks, although X6800 is meant to be the better gaming processor of the 3 but im not sure if the results justify the cost....

As for operating systems, figured id either keep using XP for the time being and make the jump to Vista when some of the bugs have been ironed out or have a a duel boot system for the time being.

My monitor is a pretty steady 19inch Digimate, but if you guys can recomend a better one for my new rig that isnt too outrageous in cost i'll consider it.... specially if I go for the E6700 as its half the cost of the other 2.

And yeah that case is the dogs doodahs! Ive wanted it since it was released!

Few more changes to my list, have decided to SLI the 8800GTX, in for a penny in for a pound eh?, and stick with the Quad Core... Its not the best gaming processor at the moment but games such as \"Alan Wake\" are being specifically coded for it and I figure its got the most usefull life span.....

Just hope my application for the online finance is accepted with no qualms! Otherwise its an agonizingly long 7 month wait till Ive got the money :S

Raptors are a waste of money imho, cordless mouse, well we've had that debate before i hate them others like them. Sliing 8800gtxs? well again unless your running stupidly high resolution it's a waste of time at the moment as a single 8800gtx is bottlenecked on a C2D running under 4ghz, apparently, at \"normal\" resolutions so sliing 2 on a quad core will be in the same boat.

End of the day its your pc, your money you must buy what you want. Will be a nice pc though.

I know Wireless mice are not the best for gaming, I do like them but if there is a better wired gaming mouse I will go for that..... can you recommend one?

As for SLI'ing the 8800 cards ive decided against that again for the time being, as I can always make that jump later down the line......

As for going for Vista Ultimate, I dont see the point as when am I going to need data encryption etc? Have had a good fiddle around with home premium on the mothers new laptop and its pretty funky, bit buggy but sexy as hell!

I have a Razer Copperhead gaming mouse and i love it, it did take a while to get used to it as the resolution of 2000dpi was a big step up from the mouse i had but now i wouldn't be without it.
