    Default Windows XP installation Loop

Well we have a Dell in the office which wouldn't boot at first, but now i have it seeing the hard drive.

When it boots off the hard drive it starts a Windows XP home installation.

I have a image of the hard drive just incase. But is there anyway of stopping the XP installation from starting?

I have tried Fixboot and Fixmbr to no avail.

If i remember correctly the only way of getting passed this is to format and reinstall. Just thought i would save my self some time and ask you dudes.

    Thanks. Alex.
