    Default Order stuck in 'Procesing'

    Hi there.

    I placed an order (EC1207617) on Weds 27th Jan for next day delivery. I think i was a little too late for the cut off time so i though fair enough it'll be despatched tomorrow for delivery on friday. Thursday came and went. Oh dear, i thought, i won't get it in time for the weekend. at least it'll get here on monday.... Friday came and went.... still nothing. Order status is still 'Processing'. I have placed many orders in the past and Aria have taken the money for this order with no problems so i'm just wondering when my order will be despatched.

    I had an order that was still stuck in processing several days after the package arrived.

    I never did get an answer as to why this had happened.

    Aria's status system clearly isn't worth the electrons it is printed on.

    I just hope that you aren't relying on their system to tell you when to stay at home to wait for the parcel. The tracking system never did show my order. It went immediately from processing to delivered.

    I think this happens when there is an issue with the security on the payment, as more checks are done on the delivery address and payment details the order flow seems to get 'stuck'. That's just an observation from seeing the posts in here.

    Check your email, and the junk folders as the email with the despatch link can be seen by some very strong filters as junk (mine was). Once you have a CityLink reference, it gets a little more real-time. Apart from when they really don't leave a card or even drive down my road

    Thank you for your replies. I have been checking my inbox and junk folder diligently, unfortunately no emails from aria. As for the security checks, this i totally understand although i have used the same payment details a number of times before with no problem. If it is a security issue it would be nice if you were notified that this was the case. It seems a little steep to be paying over £8 for next day postage that comes a week later.

    It's now the 2nd Feb and still i've heard nothing at all. I've submitted a CS query and have heard nothing from that either. It's been a week since i placed the order and the money was taken and i still have no idea what's going on.
