There's been a lot of new users here, some of which may not know Forum or Computer Speak.
I've gathered these from a few places and put it all into one place and added a few better definitions ()
If this could be stickied, it would be appreciated.

BIOS - basic input output system
BSOD - Blue Screen of Death
CPU - Central Processing Unit
CMOS - Battery on motherboard
DOA - Dead on Arrival
EV - Extra Value
FSB - Front side bus
GPU - Graphics Processing Unit (G card)
GUI - Graphical User Interface
Gfx - Graphics or Graphics card
HDD - Hard disk drive
HD - High definition
HTPC - Home Theatre PC (Media center)
IDE - Integrated Drive Electronics
LLU - Local Loop Unbundling
MOBO - Motherboard
OC - Overclock
OS - Operating System
PCI - Peripheral component interconnect
PCI-E - Peripheral Component Interconnect Express
Pop Up - Pop-up ads or pop-ups are a form of online advertising on the World Wide Web intended to attract web traffic or capture email addresses
PPU - Physics Processing Unit (Physics card)
PSU - Power Supply Unit
RAID - Redundant array of Inexpensive Disks
RAM - Memory
SATA - Serial Advanced Technology Attachment
SD - Standard definition
SD card - Secure Digital memory card
SP2 - Service Pack 2
SSD - Solid State Drive
TRUE - ThermalRight Ultra Extreme
UMPC - Ultra Mobile Personal Computer
VGA - Video Graphics Array

AFAIK - As far as I know
AFK - Away from keyboard
ATM- At the moment
BTW - By the way
BOGOF- Buy one get one free
BOT - Computer controlled user
CBA - Cant be .... (bothered)
FPS - Frames per second
FYI - For your information
FUBAR = ****ed up beyond all recognition/repair
Fanboy - Someone that favours one brand over others and consistently re-enforces this view even when it is wrong or there is a better option.
