    Default Lost system tray icons??

I have a problem with the system tray.
every time I reboot I lose most of the icons in the systray.
The programs are running but not showing in the tray.
If I do an XP repair they come back. until next time I reboot.
If I do a Restore they come back. until I reboot.
I am getting balder by the hour. Does anyone have a solution??

    Well, there's this cream stuff......

Sorry, I couldnt resist that one...

    Have you tried this: http://www.r2.com.au/software.php?pa...a6cb265405669e
You can choose to delay the startup of some programs which sometimes fixes that problem.

There are some other ideas here too: http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/t1034225301

    Default

Thanks the start delay worked after a fashion.
But it does give you the option of starting any programs it misses
So I will mark this as a success.
