    Default Cable and xDSL tweaking

    Hi all,
Been messing around with a few different things Last night, this morning and today

one of them being this site
    http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks

A little Java app tests your connection, then suggests things you can do to improve it.

None of it was really applicable to me as it was mostly Windows related. But I hunted around and have made a couple of configuration changes, and things seem to have improved a little.

Back in the day I used to do Reg hacks in win98 to Reduce MTU for Dial up connection etc

Anyone use these kind of tweaks?
