So basically you robbed them of £100, nice one, you may have cost that poor lass her job or £100 from here own pocket for the mistake. Assuming they can proove why the till is £100 light.

For that much of an error i might well have pointed it out, for a couple of quid...?

    Thats just me though.

    Nice camera kit though

I've got the A200 with the kit lens, not amazing for macro unless you back off a bit then zoom in which gives nice DOF, and with the built in body image stabilization pics come out decent.

Zoom is lacking, but i'm not really into zoom pics so think i'll stick with the kit lens, and possibly get some filters, or a polariser,

I got Jessops £100 and the lass may well of lost her job or had to pay the £100 her self. It could be worse as it could be more. If shes that dumb not to notice i'm not going to speak up. Jessops are massive, they make loads of money.

Thats how your ment to do macro. Get close to the object then zoom into it!

The 18-70 or 18-55 is not ment for Macro, it can do amazing DF closeups.

**** and get some Macros + lenses for the 18-70 or 1`8-55 pending what you got. The results are amazing!

    I went like this

    Kit
    Filters
    Teliphoto
    Flash
    Then went mad on everything!

On my old FUJI S6500 FD I used to go literally a cm away on supermacro on AP mode and it would come out crisp and very detailed.

The A200 just doesn't focus that close, hence the new zoom macro technique i've never used before LOL

Compact to DSLR is a leap! You got it set to Auto or Manual focus on the body by the lens mount?
