Sanyo VPC-CG10 Camcorder
Hi folks,
The wife and I have decided that it might be a good idea to get a video camera for Christmas. We've got a budget of around £160 and a few months ago I noticed a local supermarket were selling a Toshiba camera for about £150.
However reading some reviews, it turns out this Toshiba camera wasn't very good quality.
So, doing a bit more searching I found that Aria are selling the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG10 camcorder for £150 inc VAT.
I'm not expecting much for £150, at the moment we borrow my Dad's DV camcorder so I'm thinking just going from 4:3 SD video to 16:9 720p video would be a large step up for us (and our telly only does 720p anyway)
What I was wondering is if anyone has got any experience of this camcorder and if it's any good?
I did find some sample videos and pictures on the internet here but I wondered if anyone on here had any first hand experience of them and could comment?
Ta,
Rob
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
My Laptop: Acer Aspire 2920 - Core 2 Duo 2GHz, 4GB PC2-6400 Aria Ram, 250GB Hard Drive, Ubuntu Linux 9.10
Wife's PC: Pentium Dual Core E2180 @ 2.93GHz, 4GB OCZ PC2-6400 Memory, 200GB & 500GB Hard Drives, Windows 7.
And lots of other bits hanging around for me to sort out...
