    Hi all,

    Gibbo bullied me into this place and photography is a big big interest of mine and is gradually becoming an income

    Anyway, heres some of my work, hope you like it.

    Awesome! They're desktop wallpaper worthy! Even the first three. But I think the first one would actually be better if the boat wasn't visible. That's just personal though. The water is so clear!

    I'm into photography too but can't afford a DSLR yet. I'm not too fussed to be honest though. I like some of the pics I've taken with my compact camera and work on the philosophy of "you don't need a big heavy camera to take good photos. All you need is a the right scene and a ken eye. And some form of camera, obviously."

    The boat adds a sense of scale and depth to the picture though!

    I like the boat, and I especially like what appear to be a pair of pants. Makes it look like someone is out there somewhere having a swim.

    hehe they aren't pants. It's a towel. There for a very specific reason. When your fly fishing (which is what we were doing) the spare line sits by your feet, that towel stops it getting tangled round the tieing eye on the boat.

    What lens did you have for the first photo?
    Main PC: Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (CBA to OC), 2GB OCZ Special ops 333.4 MHz (4:5) @ 5-5-5-15, GeForce 8800 GTS 640mb, OCZ 600W Stealth X Stream Antec 1200.

    Laptop: P8600 @ 2.40GHz, 2GB 1067MHz DDR3, Geforce 9400M and 9600M GT (256MB) 15.4" Screen.

    A Sigma 10-20mm which was sadly sold to fund studio equipment!
