No training required, all the people I've spoken to who have done it said it's so busy you can't get up to a pace that would tire you out anyway!

They end up walking up most of the inclines because they are so busy and nobody can keep up pace to stay on the bikes!

EDIT: Unless you do an early morning slot.

That sucks. I'd want to do it at pace.

New trail for you jtd. If first drop doesn't break your shoulder femur the next 25 probably will. Take duct tape!

I suppose I should point out some of the issues I found with the yeti after building it. But the cable routing system is bad. It runs under the frame so I can't put a crud catcher on the front gonna have to grab an ender guard for the forks.
The rear gear cable luckily I bought some extra cable outer as the holes are too big to do a normal cable run so I had to use one long piece of outer from the shifter to the rear mech

Cable ties and mods seem to have sorted it though

@Dan was going to say on reading post, full outers everywhere, can fudge full outers into most frames which try and encourage an exposed cable run half way through. Swchinn Moab has three exposed cables on top tube. front mech, rear mech and rear brake, full outered offset with a ziptie to fix.
