ISO up to 3200, image stablisation is very easy to use and effective, had bulb mode and with a tripod gives some cracking night shots.

If it were me, from experience the 450D would be top of my list. And also from experience, the Panasonic G1, and from reading the reviews Coilers sony would be up there too!
Cheers Aaron. Always thought of the G1 as the Fisher Price style camera seeing the advertsbut the specs say other wise!

What lense will you need though? From experience the lenses are the most expensive parts of this dslr marlarky. Most kits come with a basic low zoom lense which, may or maynot have some form of image stabilisation, so unless its built into the camera this is almost a must a low light levels, unless you have a tripod, more cost. if you are only taking indoor close up portrait shots then the kit lense will do in most cases.

I know that the canon lens does have Image stabilisation.

The a200 has built in image stabilisation in the camera itself
They bought out Minolta so all the old minolta lenses work too, some real long zoom bargains to be had on the bay of e.
The kit lens in the price is outstanding for the money.
Also the battery is fantastic no battery grip etc needed, on one charge i've taken over 800 shots so far and still quarter left.
Welllll then I have just bought a Canon 500D. Had a go with a few of them and I like the 500D better. Can't wait for it to come.
