Default This is why I fit coolers correctly!

Ok for all you people out here, especially the animal type such as MONKEY(s) I think this will just go to show you how you've all been wrong, and how my thermal paste application was BANG ON!

    Idle Temperature

LOAD TEMPERATURE (on maximum heat setting)

    Any questions? :kick:

I've put full screen screenshots just so you know it's definitely my PC

Your not clever enough to save those images as GIF files or low quality JPEG's

And no-one was wrong here, you smudged the thermal paste around before placing the cooler on, daft if you ask me.

imo it depends upon the viscosity of the paste and mounting mechanism of the cooler.

thin paste or bolt/screw on cooler and you can squash it, thick paste or push pins and speading can be better.

    edit

will i am sorry if you cant tell when im messing with you

Thats fair man, it's sometimes abit hard to tell that over the internet via letters written on a screen.

No...I just proved that you can do it anyway you like...there really isn't a difference.

I saved it as .png just because I think its good quality...what does the format have to do with anything (unless its to do with your slow broadband?)

I was told I'd put too much on, when I said I hadn't and that even if I did the weight of the cooler would have squeezed it out...you can't change the story and tell me that you said I'd smudged it!

I don't make you comment on everything I post you just like too

You also always taking stuff soo personally, I wasn't actually talking to you about changing your story (seeming that you haven't)

Coiler: "The penguin, morning room table (of 70's flower fame), and amount of excess silver 5 which may eventually ooze out and short some components concern me. LOL nice job shed "

Lynx: "Will, re apply it properly and you will get much better temps.."

Lynx: "Way too much thermal paste.."

Thats who I was talking too me, not you

Me: "Its better than a TRUE" PeterStoba "It isn't" Lynx has just got a TRUE and has said they're the same cooling wise, as we've compared temps over MSN.

I think you will find considering we haven't compared ambient, and my paste isn't bedded in, and I have poor airflow, that there isn't conclusive evidence.

And is the AMD app really telling you the correct temps? What does coretemp say?

For your core temp to be 19c your room must be the under 10c if we assume your cooler cools 10c above ambient (which would be impressive).

AMD app does show individual cores at such. +10 degrees gets you real temperatures. Mine was at 18.5 degrees earlier.

PNG's are small file sizes Will defo be the next main image format so watch the space. Even Microsoft have the new Windows 7 paint auto applying PNG instead of BMP.

Do you not think it would have caught on before now if it was going to be the next big image filetype? I was working with PNG files 10 years ago at my job, and maybe even longer before that..
