Stumbled across this little programme.

Going to give it a try - easy enough to toggle off when gaming or doing something that's best with full brightness and actually doesn't look too bad.

I've been using it for a while, have mine set to drop to 4200k at night as I find 3400k is too sepia. Took a while to get used to the change but try changing it back to 6500k once your eyes are used to it and it seems horrifically bright. Seem to be getting off to sleep slightly easier with it installed too which is always a plus.
I also used it for a while but I found it annoying that you couldn't permanently toggle on/off, you need to change it again every hour. Very annoying when you're in a game or doing colour sensitive work.
You can...
Just change the lighting for night to day time
then when your finished put it back to what you want. This is what I do anyway if I need to disable it.
I absolutely love this program cant stand not using it at night. This is on my list of Compulsory installs!
ive had it for a while now.
cant say if it has helped but id like to think it has.

Format C: For Cortex
"in time all your questions will be answered
not what you hoped for, not what you dreamed
all preconceptions crumble"
the only time that I notice that its working is when I realise my mouse cursor is much brighter than the rest of the screen.

I can't get on with it personally, it feels like Instagram is taking over my screen at night. Nice idea though!

Fine, if I'm not using the machine when the transition takes place.
