Default Upgrading from one hard drive to RAID

    Hi there,

I've recently invested in two 500GB hard disks to replace my 320GB hard drive I use for all of my programs, games etc.

Is there an easy way to copy everything from the 320GB hard disk to the new RAID without having to reinstall everything? This is NOT my boot drive with Windows on, if that makes any difference, it just has all my Steam games and programs on it.

    Thanks!

    1) Ensure your mobo Raid drivers are installed in windows (Intel Rapid Store ?)
    2) Install new drives
    3) Go into BIOS and configure them as a Raid-1 / Raid-0 depending.
    4) Boot into windows
    5) Use a disk imaging software to clone your 320 onto the new raid volume

For part 5, I got a free copy of Acronis with my WD drive : http://support.wdc.com/product/downl...l.asp?swid=119
