New Macbook Pro Range

The regular macbook pro's have upgradable internals, its just the airs and the new 15inch pro. With that in mind, I think it would be blooming hard to get standard items in the new pro, the air was always going to be almost impossible to upgrade, although the previous models have allowed ssd upgrades.

I only use windows now if im gaming, as I find I need to use OSX more and more through work.

In response to a question posed about 4 pages back, apple have a very clever marketing technique with their cloud and what not, which means that if a user has one apple device, they'll put first choice to apple again for a second as it will all be fully integrated.

Android does the same (and in my opinion, to a superior standard) but it still doesn't have the integration between PC and tablet/phone.

So if it can't integrate between tablet/phone, how is it of a superior standard?

Because Android syncs everything (and I mean everything); Contacts, all media, Apps and data, etc. Only downside, as Cosford says, is it isn't integrated in to an OS - bookmarks are integrated in to Chrome, media in to G+ and contacts in to Gmail, however.

I saw a reference to iMessage a couple of posts up. Surely that's just an Apple copy of a Blackberry idea (BBM)?

Apple are like spoilt brats with double standards.

Patenting a wedge shape?? Better tell Apple Ferrari's from the 70's, 80's and 90's already did that. Actually, better removed that wedge shaped door stop I made in a school project for fear of being brought to court in Germany.

It is, wasn't saying it was unique, only that it was about the only reason I could think of for moving to iPhone when you're mates are on iPhone too. Doesn't even work as well as BBM, except for pictures.

Doesn't work as well as BBM? Is that why I'm constantly added to events on facebook called "Need BBMs and numbers" as their blackberries keep deleting their contacts? Haven't had one from an iPhone user and I have as many friends with iPhones.

That's true. I just meant it's sometimes a bit flaky in that it's sometimes really slow to deliver. I think it's down to the receiver not having data signal at the time, so it waits and sometimes forgets until it eventually sends via regular text message.

Ahh so that's why it does that, often wondered why it send it as an sms when I have signal . Another annoying feature is texts don't auto-send if you ran out of signal when sending, when you get signal, as I often text people and while it's sending lock the phone and assume it's sent, and then after a while wondering why they haven't replied yet, I find it failed to send, grr.

Oh btw, the display is made by LG, not Samsung if anyone is interested .
