Seagate RMA

Anyone had any experience with them?

I'm repairing a laptop for somebody, the 500gb 5400.6 failed just 2 days inside warranty.

Anyways, sent it to Seagate, got an email this morning to say they've received it and order status is "In Process". Does that mean they're sending another drive out or what?

Pretty sure that would means they're testing it etc. I imagine they will send a replacement.

RMA with them is very good mate takes about 2 weeks max

Ah good to know, looking around it seems they email when a replacement is sent out. Cheers.

Replacement drive came today, just over a week's wait from sending off. Awesome.

glad its sorted matel but for me Bequiet are raining champion of RMA

Sent almost 3 year old PSU it arrived in Germany on Thursday, Monday morning replacement latest version arrived at my door. WIN

Not bad haha, only other RMA I've had to deal with is Corsair which took a month, all in all I'm rather impressed.
