Default Need advice on a new build using an overclocked bundle.

I am planning on buying ta 49478 bundle, which is Gladiator Intel i5-3570K 4.40GHz Pre-Built Overclocked Gaming Bundle (Ivy Bridge) and I was wondering if the following components will be compatible with it:

    • 24" Iiyama Prolite E2473HDS Widescreen LED Monitor
    • Fractal Design Define R3 Black Pearl V2 Midi Tower Soundproof Chassis
    • Samsung SH-B123L/BSBP 12x BluRay ROM / 16x DVD±RW Lightscribe SATA-II Optical Drive - Black (OEM)
    • 650W Corsair TX650 V2 80PLUS Bronze Power Supply
    • 1TB Seagate ST1000DM003 Barracuda 7200.12 SATA III 6Gb/s Hard Drive - HDD
    • Mushkin Chronos 120GB 2.5" SATA-III Solid State Hard Drive
    • MSI HD 7870 Twin Frozr III OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

    Thank you in advance.

I would have said so, but I would have considered personally a better PSU.. Corsair has a much better unit like the HX or the AX and they would be better to use than the TX with all that hardware. I might consider a 750W as well but I don't think you'd need it. Only if you where going to add another 7870 or get something bigger to replace it..

Excellent choices there all round, getting maximum bang for buck

Swap the SSD for this one though : http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Stora...roductId=44258

And the TX650 V2 is an awesome PSU already mate, no need to swap it imo.

You're all set, I think, bang on the money

I have no idea, it says on the website to allow 10 days for a bundle. So i guess it will take about 10 days from today, not sure about all other components though maybe they will send them separately. So I think next week is the most likely scenario.

Up to 10 working days from the day of purchase. The latest it could arrive is the 21st of May.
