Today we are looking at the new Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe motherboard when paired up with the flagship GTX680. Is this the ideal foundation for a new, high performance enthusiast system?

I really like this board. I'm just not sure I can justify the price difference between this and the P8Z77-V Pro

do you think it is worth the extra over the pro? the extra wifi antenna is probably the only extra thing i would use over the pro.

I think both of them will perform to the same level, but the deluxe, as you say has extra functionality. If you dont need that functionality., then save the money for something else.

I gave the Wifi GO a try today, not bad at all, it makes me want to go out and buy a smart tv. Also the Asus "turbo evo" automatically sets my 3770K to 4.6ghz without me having to do a single thing. The board still has many many features I that I am still to work out how best to use. My favourite part is perhaps one of the easier parts from Asus but I really love that the chipset heatsink lights up "Asus"

They do arguably make the finest motherboards on the market.

I couldn't agree more, I'm not sure I would ever move away from them now. FYI I sent that last message drunk after a night out, I don't remember sending it....
