Nah marry, all Samsung phones feel cheap and that's a mirrored opinion by most people and reviews.

I just want a high end phone that feels solid like a high end phone should, not a high end phone with mid range build quality..

I admit they made a few mistakes with the S2 like the backplate cheapness, just disagree with the button You have to admit though its still better than apple...and half the price

Build quality wise they're still a good way off matching Apple...

Hardware wise.... The 4S is faster and the GPU in the 4S pretty much beats every GPU in any Android phone. Even my Sensation XE smacks the S2 around and I have 33% more pixels to render.

I went to my local Three store to have a play with the HTC One X and run some quick benchmark tests and it's around the same performance as my HTC Sensation XE.

Granted the One X has a lot more pixels to push but for any one wanting the phone to party games on its not much on a upgrade.

I'd do that if the phone was quater of the price than it is. I'm just gonna go 3. Get 25 quid unlimited internet and use the Quidco cashback to go towards the handset.

was chatting to Josh about this earlier.

Most other networks have 500gb FUP now.

no where near enough for a smart phone, 3 network is totally unlimited.

I may be going for the £34 deal and paying my 3 months remaining t mobile contract off.

Question RE the buttons, like the S1, is there one actual button on the S3 at the bottom, or is it all touch screen now?

My S1 plastic never gets felt as such, as use a rubber cover which only has the screen on show. I'd take the lightness of the samsung and vibrant screen over any of Apples offerings, anyday

I actually had 1Gb on my o2 contract and dropped it to 500mb to save £4 a month as I found myself not actually using 1gb. The only time I went over was when I moved house and was tethering for a while. I guess it depends on circumstance. If you can connect to wi-fi at home and work then you're unlikely to need it.

Also bear in mind the 3 network is absolutely dire. Had a friend come to visit and about the only place he got a signal was at the castle It's 3G or bust with 3. If you lose 3G you lose signal completely more or less.

The SIII should have the single hardware button in the middle, like the S and SII

I wasn't a particular fan on the SII's build quality, it did feel quite cheap and if I held it too tightly, it'd snap! The Nexus is a much, much nicer phone though, and the SIII should be similar - if only it looked the part!

Whoa, that's fair enough then. As I say, all depends on circumstances.

3 is great when you do get signal, it's just the times when you don't. To not have a major city covered is pretty poor even if Edinburgh is relatively small.

just looked and 3 are doing a great deal, £34 a month (2 years) and no upfront cost, unlimited data 2000 mins 5000 texts and 5000 3 to 3 mins too.

looks the best deal around that i can see
