    Default maximus iv gene-z/gen3

I have an asus maximus iv gene-z/gen3. Using a tv w/ hdmi. Now I don't see the asus post screen. Screen just flickers around until it gets to start up. Any suggestion? Probably something obvious <br />
Also it says press delete to enter the bios. Sit there pressing delete on post and still nothing happens and goes straight to start up.

You tried just pressing the "del" key and not "delete"?

I've got the same mobo, although I haven't tested out the HDMI.

There's only 1 on here. Unless I'm being completely blind and an idiot I was thinking of going back to VGA to see if that helps but I don't see why it wouldn't work with hdmi

Might be a BIOS setting, but I could be wrong as there are so many options! Try with VGA and see what happens. The del key is normally on the numpad.
