  • Decent free or cheap video editing software for 4K mp4 format?

Ok, so i have a Phantom 4 Drone, looking for some free video editing software to try before i buy, im using HitFilm 4 Express at the moment but this is only good for 1080P im very new to all this jazz so any pointers would be good, not looking to do any thing fancy other than to cut and edit footage and add music, and progress from there as i educate myself, or at least try

    You on Windows or Mac?

I personally use Final Cut Pro (torrent version) for my 4K videos but they export in .mov file so are massive so then I use some software called Handbrake to convert it to .mp4 and gets a normal size and dosent change the quality at all.

Ok, so i have tried a few programs so far, all to complicated, suit more advance film makers than the odd facebook or youtube vid like myself, anyway i have come across this program that seems to fit the bill, its straight forward even i can use it (i think) before i take the plunge and buy it, has anyone else use it, or anything like it? its called Wondershare Filmora

Which the P4 how you finding the size of the 4k files?

Ive got a P3S myself and it only does 2k so not that big but on the GoPro it does 4k and I did a 10 min video once and it was like 89gb after editing so had to convert it to about 2gb and luckily didnt hurt the quality at all.
