  • Monthly Videos

I have decided to start doing a video every month of one of my landscape trips with the end images on them.

Januaries video is from a little trip to Dovestones where the weather wasnt playing ball for what I wanted to do.

I have never done any video stuff before I got the GoPro, few other videos on my channel but thats about it.

One Thing I need to stop doing is touching my face in the videos.

Any tips, comments and so one would be grateful as still learning.

Here is Januaries Landscape Video -

If people have youtube and want to subscribe please do as Im new and only have two followers for now lol

Also I'm thinking of getting my creative side going a bit with the camera and thinking of doing a monthly theme image/video that someone else sets for me.
Just so I can do some stuff I normally done do and get my brain thinking of how to use the theme.
Januaries theme will be decided today by my Mrs (hopefully, not asked her yet) and then ill post the image/video up at start of February.

    Thanks
    FL

Also there wasnt a Jan's theme but starting in Feb and someone have chosen "public transport" for the theme so that will be coming out at end of Feb and hopefully a landscape video too.

            Subbed!

When you are walking round, what kit are you using? Go-pro and the 3-way grip?
Just playing with some videos myself and have found I tend to move the camera a lot when walking.
            (nothing on youtube yet)

              Thanks Mate
For the most I use a GoPro hear4 Session but I've just upgraded to the Hero5 Session so started 4k videos now.
I use two different hand holders for the videos -

              and
              http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Knuckles-H...MAAOSwe7BW0AJ7

For my car shows I mainly use this too - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Windsc...sAAOSwqu9VQh-f

One thing I have found that with the hand held ones the videos can be a bit shaky so I have just purchased this yesterday to see if that helps, just waiting for it to be delivered -
              https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

              Hope this helps

I'll be interested to see how that amazon handle goes. I've been looking at gimbals (powered ones) but they seems to be 100+ which is quite an investment.

I've been using one of these: doesnt damp out anything at all!

Here is my second test flight on the DJI P3S, just testing flying it and moving the camera. Very happy with it so far and how my progress is going too

Here is my latest video, just a drone test flight video.
3rd time of flying it but slowly getting better at it.
